My name is Neil Parker.
I have been a professional ski instructor in Utah, USA from December till April and teach at Mt Hutt, New Zealand from June till October.

I advise you to book your ski lessons once you have finalised your travel plans.
The ski school office handles all bookings. Private lessons sell out quickly and even requests are sometimes turned away.
Book early to avoid disappointment.

PSIA – Professional Ski Instructors America and
NZSIA – New Zealand Ski Instructors Alliance.

I have taught over 30 seasons between New Zealand, Utah & California. I teach all ages and abilities. The children link has information on that great family ski vacation.

In USA I can provide full day private lessons at Utah ski areas namely Alta, Snowbird, Brighton, Park City, Snowbasin, The Canyons and other areas in the Wasatch Mountains. In other areas of the US lessons by prior arrangement only.

In New Zealand I can provide full day private lessons at other ski areas namely Porter Heights, Mount Dobson, Mt Potts, Craigeburn, Temple Basin, Ohau, Cheeseman. Contact me for information.

If you’re overseas; fly to Christchurch & travel to Mt Hutt Village – Methven by rental car or shuttle.

Check into your accommodation and then travel to Mt Hutt. You may wish to book your entire vacation through an agent with the luxury of self-drive.

Children’s Ski Time 5 to 15

Your children are old enough to enjoy an alpine experience and you can enjoy your winter holiday secure in the knowledge that they are in best of care, starting on an adventure that could last a lifetime.

They get to explore the mountain and shortly go faster than you. I recommend either half day or full day personal training for your children. Let’s have fun and keep safe while we get better at this game- skis or snow blades. We can even join Mum and Dad for a few runs and a bit of family time. Please ask to ski with Neil Parker.
